Description

Homemade caramel coffee fudge delivers rich, indulgent flavors perfect for coffee enthusiasts. Sweet, creamy squares melt smoothly on palates, offering a delightful treat you’ll crave repeatedly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (340 g/12 oz) white chocolate chips
  • 2 cups (340 g/12 oz) white chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup (255 g/9 oz) canned dulce de leche
  • ½ cup (120 g/4 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup (120 g/4 oz) marshmallow cream
  • ½ cup (120 g/4 oz) marshmallow cream
  • 2 tbsps (28 g/1 oz) unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsps (28 g/1 oz) unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup (60 g/2 oz) dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 2 tsps instant coffee
  • 1 tsp hot water

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with aluminum foil, allowing excess to hang over edges for easy removal.
  2. Caramel Layer: Melt white chocolate chips and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then blend in Dulce de Leche and marshmallow cream until smooth and creamy.
  3. First Chilling: Pour caramel mixture into prepared pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes until slightly firm.
  4. Coffee Layer: Dissolve instant coffee granules in hot water, then combine with sweetened condensed milk. In a clean saucepan, melt white chocolate chips and butter, integrating the coffee-infused condensed milk and marshmallow cream until achieving a velvety texture.
  5. Final Chilling: Layer coffee mixture over caramel base and refrigerate for 4-6 hours or overnight until completely set.
  6. Cutting and Decorating: Remove fudge from pan using foil edges. Slice into 36 squares using a knife warmed under hot water. Melt dark chocolate wafers in the microwave, transfer to a ziplock bag, and drizzle artfully over fudge squares.
  7. Storage: Keep the decadent treat in an airtight container at room temperature, ready to be savored at any moment.

Notes

  • Prep Like a Pro: Line the pan meticulously with foil, ensuring overhanging edges for easy fudge removal and clean cutting.
  • Temperature Matters: Melt chocolate and ingredients over low heat to prevent burning and maintain smooth, creamy texture.
  • Patience is Key: Refrigerate layers for proper setting, with a minimum 4-hour chill time ensuring perfect fudge consistency.
  • Serving Secrets: Use a hot water-warmed knife for clean, precise cuts and store in airtight container to preserve freshness and flavor.
